Lord Ganesha: Remover of Obstacles & Invoker of Auspicious Beginnings

In Hindu tradition, Lord Ganesha is the remover of all obstacles (Vighnaharta) and the lord of new beginnings. Ganapathi Homam is performed to invoke Ganesha's blessings at the start of any new venture, business, housewarming, or marriage. The rituals involve chanting the sacred Ganapathi Atharvashirsha and offering modakas, durva grass, and ghee into the holy fire. It purifies the space, dispels negative entities, balances the Mooladhara chakra, and brings auspiciousness, prosperity, and peace of mind.
